Welcome to Jefferson Davis County Food and Nutrition Department!

   Jefferson Davis County School District has four schools with approximately 1,200 students enrolled. The Office of Food and Nutrition employs a team of 18 food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being and their ability to learn. We have four operating school cafeterias and we take pride in serving our students. All of our foodservice managers are ServSafe Certified and State-Certified.  We support learning by promoting good nutrition and by providing students access to foods that meet their nutritional needs. Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.

  Jefferson Davis County School District Office of Food and Nutrition is administered through the UnitedStates Department of Agriculture, the Mississippi State Department of Education, and the local School Board. It is our goal to serve well-balanced, nutritious and safe meals to all students, faculty, and staff members of the school district. This department is a self-supporting and nonprofit program that receives federal, state and local funding.
