    Lance Mancuso (Head Coach)

    Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Lance Mancuso attended high school at Pearl River Central High School in Carrier, Mississippi and holds a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi. Lance served as running back coach with Picayune High School and then moved to Lumberton for three years as Offensive Coordinator. He moved to the job of Head Coach at Richton High School in Richton, Mississippi and then returned to his Alama Mater as 1st year assistant coach at Pearl River Central High School. After leaving Pearl River Central High School, Mancuso's next head coaching job was at Seminary High School where he coached there for five years and had won the 2A State Championship in 2003 going undefeated (15-0). Three years as Head Coach at Poplarville High School in Poplarville, Mississippi was his last post before coming to Jefferson Davis County! Coach Mancuso became the Head Coach at Bassfield High School in 2008. He led the Yellowjackets to five state championships with four of them being consecutive. He also added another state championship in 2017 with the 1st year JDCHS Jaguars going (15-1). Currently, Lance is the Head Coach and Athletic Director of the Jefferson Davis County High School Jaguars. He is married to Mitzi Burns Mancuso and has two children (Madeline and Micah Mancuso).

  • Ryan Higdon (Offensive Line Coach)

    Ryan Higdon (Offensive Line Coach)

    Ryan Higdon is entering his second season at JDCHS and will serve as the Jaguars Offensive Line Coach. He spent the last nine seasons as the Offensive Line Coach at Bassfield High School. Higdon also served as an assistant offensive line coach at Popalrville High School in Poplarville, Mississippi for two seasons. Ryan lettered two years at Jones County Junior College where he was part of the 2001 state championship team. He also received his Bachelor and Graduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Coach Higdon is married to his wife of ten years, Anna and they have a son (Will Higdon). Coach Higdon was also apart of the JDCHS Jaguars 2017 3A State Championship team.

  • Coleman Price (Assistant Coach)

    Coleman Price (Assistant Coach)

    Coleman J. Price is currently the assistant football coach and the head boys Track & Field Coach of the JDCHS Jaguars. Price is a hometown product, graduating from Bassfield High School. He also graduated from Alcorn State University where he received his Bachelors in Elementary Education and his Masters in Athletic Administration and Coaching. In his coaching career he only coached at one school prior to JDCHS, Bassfield High School. He is a loving husband of Mrs. Veronica Price and the proud father of two children (Cole and Caylee Price). Coach Price was also apart of the JDCHS Jaguars 2017 3A State Championship team.

  • Tripp Sumrall (Defensive Line Coach)

    Tripp Sumrall (Defensive Line Coach)

    John "Tripp" Sumrall is a native of Soso, Mississippi. Upon graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010, Coach Sumrall served as Defensive Line Coach at Bassfield High School. From 2011 to 2012, Sumrall served as Offensive Coordinator at Bay Springs High School in Bay Springs, Mississippi. In 2013, he was named Head Coach at Bay Springs High School. 2014 through 2016, Coach Sumrall served as the Offensive Coordinator at West Jones High School in Laurel, Mississippi and earned a Masters in Secondary Education from William Carey University in May 2016. Sumrall and his wife, Kate are the proud parents of (Leigh Sumrall). Coach Sumrall and his family are excited to be a part of building new traditions at JDCHS which he will serve as the Ninth Grade and High School Defensive Line Coordinator. Sumrall was also apart of the JDCHS Jaguars 2017 3A State Championship team.

  • Quentin Sullivan (Assistant Coach)

    Quentin Sullivan (Assistant Coach)

    Quentin Sullivan is originally from Collins, Mississippi. He was apart of the 1st state championship team in 2002 before moving on to Jones County Junior College. His final stop was at Alcorn State University where he earned All-SWAC honors in his 1st and 2nd year. Coach Sullivan began his coaching career in Portland, Oregon where he spent two years at Benson High School. In 2010, he moved back to Mississippi to begin coaching at Lawrence County High School in Monticello, Mississippi for one year. In 2011 his next coaching job was at Columbia High School in Columbia, Mississippi as the football and basketball coach five years until 2017 when he became employed by the Jefferson Davis County School District. He met his wife Kapri of 12 years at Alcorn State University in 2004. Coach Quentin Sullivan was also apart of the JDCHS Jaguars 2017 3A State Championship team.
